Today I start employment as a baker. It's way early (although good practice for my kiddos since they'll be getting up around this time for school) but I'm excited.
I was up late last night baking a couple dozen for my co-workers. I did two of my established recipes (creamy coffee and strawberry champagne) and tried two new recipes (strawberry lemonade and mimosa).
I'll post the new recipes later, but I've gotta say the strawberry lemonade, which was a flavor chosen by my new boss, were awesome. The recipe needs a little tweaking but it's a definite keeper. Mimosa's good too, although I've never had an actual mimosa. I may have to work on that.
