An extra post is necessary to contain this much awesomeness...

I had an email first thing this morning from the HR person at the new job asking me to contact her. I called and she informed me that not only was my boss incorrect about not being able to start until the new year, that I was all clear and could start on Dec 1!

I am so incredibly happy that I can't even express it! My co-workers were thrilled for me and broke into applause the second I hung up the phone. They are currently busy scheming to take me out to lunch as many times as possible before I leave!

So, new email, new office, new everything coming soon!

    I know! How awesome is that! Although, sadly, the boss is out this week so I didn't get to hand my resignation to her and say "You were wrong."
